Saw Barbie the other day. What a delight. It was cute, sparkly, hilarious, deliciously subversive, inspiring, relevant, and above all, PINK! Plus it made me nostalgic. Not so much for the doll. Although I did have a Barbie, also a Ken, a pre-pregnancy Midge, and a Skipper (flat-chested model). But…
That sounds like a lot of fun. Hopefully, I will be defending my dissertation around that time. May be, next year will be a better time for me.
Of course, a lot of local people will be there. I wasn’t able to attend last year, but I did make time to go and meet a lot of internet friends. I’ll be doing the same this year.
