Making Peace with the Loss of Certainty
One of the more difficult things that came with recognizing that the Mormon Church wasn’t 100%, literally “True” was that this paradigm shift introduced incredible levels of uncertainty into my knowledge of God and the purpose of life.
That sounds like a lot of fun. Hopefully, I will be defending my dissertation around that time. May be, next year will be a better time for me.
Of course, a lot of local people will be there. I wasn’t able to attend last year, but I did make time to go and meet a lot of internet friends. I’ll be doing the same this year.
