animated Mormon quotes – Brigham Young on race

profxm, February 26, 2012February 26, 2012

In a caffeine addled state during a long drive I had an idea: Wouldn’t it help people who are interested in Mormonism to “see” what past Mormon leaders have said, rather than just read it? That thought lead to another: Well, you could animate historic Mormon figures to reenact the quotes. Thus, I give you the first in, depending on the response, what could be a series of historical quotes by Mormon leaders:

If you have favorite quotes you’d like to see animated, please leave them in the comments.

lifelongguy posted a a good set that might make for a fun video! It would be especially fun if you can include his suggestion of showing a fancy sign on the pulpit that can flash “Speaking As Man” or “Speaking As Prophet”. πŸ˜‰

Thanks for the link. I’ll add his quotes to my planned quotes for animating. Not sure I can add the fancy flashing sign in the animation stage, but I could certainly do it in post-production via youtube. I think the sign is just going to flash “Speaking As Prophet” the whole time, though! πŸ˜‰
