The polls are here!! Thanks to everyone who nominated — I’m really thrilled that so many people are helping keep this venerable tradition alive — to help recognize/promote the best LDS-interest content of the year!!!
Sorry about the delay (I meant to post the polls yesterday), but it was actually difficult to categorize all of the nominations. Unfortunately there were a few categories that didn’t hit the required 3 nominations in order to make it to the voting phase, so I had to drop them. 🙁
I did my best to find an appropriate category for every nomination. Note that because there are so many podcasts (like, WOW!!! — an amazing array of podcasts!!) I didn’t include podcasts in the “Best YouTube Channel” category even if the podcast is also a YouTube channel — I put them in “Best Podcast” only, to avoid the channels that are primarily YouTube channels from getting swamped by podcasts.
I also had to fudge a little on the meaning of “Trek” for one of the categories. 😉
The polls will be open until Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Switzerland time. Here they are:

Hey just wanted to let ya know my name is spelt nuancehoe (with and E). Thanks for the nominations!! These creators are all so dope!
Gene — Thanks for the additional nomination!! I added the poll. 😀
Carah — OMG, I am so sorry! I have corrected your name in the link lists, but I’m not sure I can edit the polls themselves at this point without deleting all the votes….
This is a cute idea, and something that I’ve talked with other influencers about putting together to highlight all the varied creativity among the beautiful humans who are shining a light on Mormonism.
It could be really great.
But how appropriate that a man beat out 4 women because he has the advanced degree and credibility they Mormonism stole from the countless women in this space. Dan was he’s I’ll funded by BYU on his channel, propped up literally by MY tithes, and this has a greater reach than my petty 4-8 million a month, or the few thousand or few hundred or few dozen of the other women who produce content without LDS Inc. bankrolling our time and efforts.
My followers and other major creator friends were disappointed. There should I be more careful consideration behind the scenes, in my opinion.
Alyssa Grenfell, Britt Hartley, Sharon, and Cara and women like them are reaching more and changing more LDS lives than anyone on the planet, at great personal cost, while Dan spouts fairy tale factoids and props up the patriarchy. Hard pass.
Hi Jennie, I’m not sure which race you’re talking about. Is this about Dan McClellan winning best TikTok channel? There were only 816 votes in that category — anyone could have won by campaigning a bit.
Unfortunately it’s hard for use here to get the word out about the Brodie Awards during the nominations and voting phases, so it often happens that people don’t realize that they were in the running in time to campaign for themselves with their fans.
That said, Alyssa Grenfell and Britt Hartley both won Brodie Awards this year — just look at the winner’s thread. Nuancehoe also won one (if that is the Cara you’re talking about…?), and I don’t know who Sharon is, but maybe she won one too…?
