The New Utah State Flag

profxm, February 11, 2011

The Utah State Senate is adding to the list of “state symbols” a “state gun” – the Browning M1911. I’ve taken the liberty of redesigning the state flag for Utah as a result of this change:

Weirdest Mormon Story Maybe Ever

August 9, 2012

Links to a very strange Mormon-related story have begun appearing in my Facebook feed, and I must share here. The SL Trib Headline reads “LDS branch leader booted after sexual assault charge.” Turns out that Efrey Guzman, a 46-year-old president of a Latino branch in Sandy, “allegedly groped girl, attacked…

How about a new state motto while we’re at it? Something like the recent UPS slogan comes to mind:

“What can Browning do for you?”

Cue the off-color jokes (and forgive the pun.) 🙂

Are the barrels aimed at the center for artistic or symbolic reasons?

I’m not much of an “artist” and can’t claim credit for thinking symbolically either.

This was funny even before I noticed the bullets tearing through the eagle’s wings.

    Then it was hilarious.
